As of September 2005, the official SWAN calibration between January 1996 and September
2005 is defined by the calibration factor of the +Z sensor. All -Z sensor count rates
are converted into equivalent +Z sensor count rates using the cross calibration factor
computed for each observation.
The values for the +Z sensor are:
From 1996/01/01 to 1998/06/30
Cf = 1.762 Rayleigh per cps
Note: the High Voltage setting is 2033. V (Digital Level 110)
From 1998/10/20 to 2000/11/17
Cf = 4.493 Rayleigh per cps
Note: the High Voltage setting is 2033. V (Digital Level 110)
From 2000/12/08 to 2001/04/25
Cf = 6.396 Rayleigh per cps
Note: the High Voltage setting is 2033. V (Digital Level 110)
From 2001/04/26
Cf = 4.106 Rayleigh per cps
Note: the High Voltage setting is 2057. V (Digital Level 120)
(Between 2000/11/17 and 2000/12/08, the calibration factor is not constant)
